Rooted in Anishinaabe Culture
My approach is grounded in my Anishinaabe identity, culture, and values. That grounding shapes how I approach relationships, listen to others, and understand the responsibilities that come with being invited into a community or organization.
Being grounded in Anishinaabe culture also means recognizing that other Nations and communities carry their own knowledge, traditions, and protocols. When the work takes me beyond my own cultural knowledge, I look to the people who carry that knowledge rather than assuming Anishinaabe ways apply everywhere..
